As the founder of Kin Migration, Avelyn serves as the principal registered migration agent and draws on her background as a former Queensland lawyer. Since 2016, she has helped hundreds of businesses and individuals secure consistently positive migration outcomes. In 2019 she launched Kin Migration with a mission to deliver personalised, empathetic guidance - demystifying legal jargon and providing clear, actionable advice to clients pursuing their future in Australia.

Avelyn completed a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2016. In the same year, she was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Queensland.

Avelyn has worked closely with immigrants from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds and is deeply committed to helping her clients secure their most favourable migration outcomes.

Having lived in Singapore for over a decade as a first-generation immigrant before calling Australia home in 2012, she truly understands what it’s like to settle into a completely new country - twice! She combines personal insight with legal expertise to create customised strategies that address each client's unique circumstances, proactively identifying and resolving potential obstacles early to ensure clients feel supported and confident throughout Australia's complex migration process.

Avelyn is fluent in Mandarin and a member of the Migration Institute of Australia and Migration Alliance. She is also a senior visiting consultant to several immigration businesses and law firms, specialising in complex immigration matters.
